It looks like this last Dispatches may have finally seduced me into getting into the Market Garden range. It seems like every time I cut back on one range, another becomes attractive to me. Hopefully this isn't a range too far:)

My question is this - are there particular German figures, sets (or even a range) that Arnhem collectors have found go well with Market Garden? By go well I guess I mean in both the historical and aesthetic sense.

I'd love some recommendations. Or better yet, photos (maybe from old K&C brochures)?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

I can,t post pictures from my work PC but the late war SS figures from the WSS range go perfectly as opposition for the Paras.

The best set for Arnhem Jerries is WSS122 'Advancing on the Enemy'. Three figures sneaking up on the Oosterbeek Perimiter... based on a very famous Arnhem photo.

Mark, I would suggest you not look a the old brochures because all those sets are retired and go for triple and up from original retail in price. Besides some of the older rare items look very different than the current figures. If you want more info PM me I own most of the WS sets.

Mark - Don't waste your money - This range is going into its final phase !:D:);)

What about some of the recently released Luftwaffe fighting figures? I believe the Luftwaffe also had some ground units invovled in the battle of Arnhem. They would go well, alongside the current Waffen-SS figures.
Any thoughts?:)

Mark, you may want to look at "Flames of War" Miniature wargaming. They have an arnhem senario that gives you units and paint schemes.
