Hello, does anyone know the item number of the German soldier that can ride on this Hetzer? I have seen a few Russian riders but I would like the part number for the German rider if they make one. thanks,

TG did make these tank riders; search on ebay for "THOMAS GUNN FJ008A"

I have a TG hetzer and I tried different TG figures and as the back of the Hetzer slopes the above tank riders dont really fit - they need a flat base.

However the 2 in the attached photo fit aok. Nothing else will as all the TG figures have bases.

you can find one of the 2 below still on ebay, item number: 360818336849 from Rodney in Florida.

Did it not come with a soldier laying on it? I thought it included a figure?

Hello, no , my hetzer came alone and without a driver or soldier , but I think it would look nice with someone on it or next to it.

I think you are right. Just searching on google for Thomas Gunn Hetzer and look at the images and you can see both versions came with the same figure on the back. My 2 were second hand so someone kept the figure.

Ive never seen this figure for sale by itself though so its going to be hard to get.

SS017B Brandenburgers (2)-800x533xffffff.jpg

Only the Russian version had a figure with it as far as we can remember. The other 2 German versions had no figure but we did advertise it showing one of the figures from the SS017 figure set so you could add if desired - this was before my time so not 100% sure and I could be wrong!

Best wishes Sonia

I have a KC figure of a German lying down (based) with a pair of binos in his hands that I put on mine.

I remember, 17a was Waffen-SS and 17b was Brandenburg Division. 2011 I guess? I can post tomorrow a photo, I have one of the figurine.
