I took out this old Andrea Miniatures kit and started to assemble it. The castings are very good. I trimmed the undercut between the saddle and the horse flanks. I drilled out holes to insert the kettledrum lugs to the horse saddle. Brass wire was inserted to strengthen the joints. I note that the figure is a large 1/35 scale and is fairly compatible with the mostly 1/32 figures in my collection. Assembly was done with epoxy glue and the parts were sprayed with matt white undercoat.

I trimmed the kettledrum banners and carefully epoxied the hanging cords and tuning keys to the kettledrums.

The horse was mounted onto a wooden base which was stained and varnished.
