German Movie Title Question (1 Viewer)

I was reminded by Andy N. at OTSN about a German made movie like Band of Brothers but this was about German soldiers. I believe a while back someone mentioned it on the forum. Any help? Andy said it was on You Tube, however I couldn,t find it as the title is in German.

The German title is, unsere mutter, unsere vater. I believe it is a 3 part mini series made in Germany earlier this year. Last night I watched one part on You Tube, the one were the nurse finds the Brit Pilot, but I can,t find the other 2 episodes.
Again any help?

You might find it in English as "Generation War". I found that as the English title, when I googled, "Unsere Mütter, Unsere Väter". The original German is available on Amazon.de. I only did a quick search on Amazon.com for "generation war" and decided not to wade through 200 entries for "Star Trek: The Next Generation" at this time.

Also, there was a miniseries produced in Germany back in the 80s, called Heimat, of a similar nature, following the experience of a number of people through time. The period was longer, however, starting before WWI and following several generations up to 1982. I remember seeing it, I think on PBS. It's worth watching, too, or adding to your DVD library.
