I cast a bunch of these 20 years ago to sell and just painted the last of them.

PM me it you're interested in buying. I have 2 sets of the band and 4 sets of the infantry left. I used pewter casting metal and they are painted in Acrylics.

Ah, the old Schneider molds, schön, schön, schön!

Well done, Scott! Do you still have the molds? You should cast some more.

You've reminded me, now that it's getting colder out, it's time to start casting again. With the long weekend coming up, it's a good opportunity.

Prost!

I still have the molds for the band. I was given a bunch of the infantry.

Scott,

I managed to get a couple of the semi flats and have them on my site, but this is the image. I used gloss paint enamels (Humbrol) for mine.

One bugler in Parade Uniform and 2 running infantry in field uniform.

I love this sort of figure and managed to get about 50 figures a couple of years back from a decesed estate, but no moulds unfortunately.

John

Those are "neat!" A lot of semi-flat are just marching. I'd like to have a few dozen of the charging Germans just for me. I used to use Testers Gloss, but now use acrylics which I do not like for these types of figures.

I'm trying to use-up the 20+ year old castings I have and paint with what I have rather than buying new bottles of paint. I recently did some Prince August type castings of 18th Century soldiers (as American Revolution) for a local gift shop.

Great site BTW.
