I found a lid to one of the boxes we have broken down at work and decided it'd be a good placeholder for the larger-scale winter diorama that I plan on building over time. Everything here is either King & Country, Build-a-Rama, or Department 56. The snow can be a tad more realistic (I plan on adding more sediment to it to give it more of a beaten down look) and the AK051 guardbox and walls need some more snow on them but all in all, I'd say I'm pretty happy with this start!

Great scene !

The snow looks great...a lot like the stuff that has been falling here the last few days.

Thank you for posting.

Very Impressive. Looking forward to seeing this develop. My two favorite types of German WWII dioramas are Battle of the Bulge and North African Desert.

Thank you! The two displays that I'm looking to build up are at the extreme opposite ends of the war, 1940 French Soldiers and 1944-45 Winter Germans.
