While you die hards (and I mean that in the best sense of the word) would love wounded figures, the reality is that they are much less popular than other figures. Manufacturers make what they can sell the most of, and many people don't want anyone hurt. Perhaps it takes us back to our childhoods - we can play war games in the back yard and shoot at each other all day, then we all go home again. We enjoy war (tactics, armor, weapons, uniforms, etc) - but not death. We only get hurt if our big brother decides we weren't playing fairly and takes it out on us...
