Great car, was talking to Royal Marine veterans of the 85 day, Battle of the Scheldt, in the Low Countries and occupied Germany after the war, they used to shoot holes in the bottom of them to stop them being used on water, as they were used for smuggling contraband and people. part of me thought they were just telling tall stories to Young Royal Marines, but many years later read it in a book about the German Werewolf Resistance.
I was wondering if anyone would venture into other WW2 German vechicle, such as the Trippel SG6
Or this beast, Landwasserschlepper
Plus not forgetting the British Terrapin, which looks like the very early forerunner for the modern day 8 wheeled Armoured Cars.
