There is a toy soldier show this weekend in Gettysburg PA at the Eisenhower Inn and Conference Center from 10:00am till 3:00pm.

This is one of the largest toy soldier shows on the East Coast, a good number of metal and plastic dealers will be there including myself, Nicholas from Crown Miniatures, Al Green, Ritchie Dutkins, John Stengle, The Quartermaster as well as a number of plastics dealers including Rick Eber.

I hope to see some of the forum members there, I know several have told me they will be attending; how can you go wrong, toy soldiers and Gettysburg all rolled into one, talk about having your cake and eating it too.................

I will be............Michael

Hey George. Thanks for the heads up! I will be there. I believe last year you accepted credit cards. Will you accept this this year at the show as well?

Thanks

Brad

Got your email George. Thanks and see you at the show! With Yankees hat on! :)

Is Gettysburg a big enough town to hold George and Bernie Sanders on the same weekend? I guess we find out. There hasn't been this much excitement since 1863.

Great, now I'll have to fight my way around a sea of 20 something ballbags wearing hipster doofus glasses.................look for me as I'll be wearing my Capitals "Smoltzy" jersey............................

So I don't get hit with a special "fee". I will wear my Raiders cap instead. :)

I did a quick walk around. Saw the JJ barge which was fantastic. Some guy was selling really great looking log cabins and thatch hut buildings. I didn't catch his name though and had my hands full of the stuff I bought from George but that was about the only notable item that I hadn't seen before. The rest was standard KC, First Legion, Jenkins and an assortment of typical odds and ends.

Got back late yesterday from the show; was good for me, myself and Nicholas from Crown were the only two full time metal dealers there, a lot of plastics, plus older metal, then throw in some collectors selling off odds and ends from their collections and the guy Doug mentioned with the houses, huts, cabins and siege machines made out of popsicle sticks and there you go. He and Larry should have gotten together and compared notes on how to make popsicle stick houses and wigwams using 4,000 elastic bands and pins....................^&grin

Pleased you had a good show George.

Thank you from me on behalf of all us manufacturers lines you were promoting. Tables looked great as always.

Best regards,

Malcolm.
