I saw a sign for this today. It is scheduled for April 25th for anyone interested.

Its a good show. And you cant ask for a better location. So I should hopefully be there this year.

Shannon mentioned this on another thread...but I thought it should be here too!

We are excited to announce that Treefrog will be attending the Gettysburg show coming up later this month and our table will be a smorgasbord of Argentinian toy soldiers including Four Feathers, Beau Geste, Laura Cuello, Southlands, our own Shores of Tripoli and more!

Juan Saavedra our new East Coast show rep will be manning the table. Juan is from Argentina himself and is an avid toy soldier collector in his own right.

If you will be attending the show and would like see a particular "Made in Argentina" set up close and in person, just drop us a note and we'll try to include it in what we send to the show. We're shipping to Juan the middle of next week, so it'd have to be before that.

Be sure to drop by the table and give Juan a warm welcome either way.

I will be attending this great event, held in one of the best spots in the US for a toy soldier show, a town that was the center of the greatest battle ever fought in the United States.

The promoter has freed up more tables for me, I'll have 8 for this one loaded with all the latest offerings from all the top toy soldier manufacturers in the world.

The requests are rolling in for items to bring along to the show, so let me know if any of you have specific wants.........

Arrrgggh. It would be held on my 40th wedding anniversary. Hmmm..I wonder if I can talk the wife into a little romantic weekend away:D

Second year in a row that this show hits on the same day as my granddaughters birthday party. I can see this is going to be an ongoing problem unless the G-burg show moves it's date up or back.:( -- Al

The show is this coming Sunday, hope to see some forum members there.....................and after packing up my goods (what's left of them), grabbing some dinner, I'll be heading back to the hotel for episode 6 of The Pacific, this series has really reached out and grabbed me the past few weeks............

Episode 7 George.It's moving along fast.Too fast.

Sorry, my bad; heard episode 8 is basically all about Basilone, in the states selling bonds, then he wants to go back to the action, meets his future wife and trains new recruits all in one go.

Episode 9 will be about him on Iwo Jima, perhaps part of the action on Okinawa too, then the final episode, which will be #10.....................

Not sure if anyone reported on the show. It seemed well attended at least when I was there in the morning. George was selling like a madman. I didn't see anything new. As always they had some nice art work. Treefrog had a nice display, but mostly glossy. Shows are a bit underwhelming for the small number of us who live in places with toy soldier shops. There is really not much new to see. Still good fun to see so many collectors. I picked up the new Jenkins' releases from George.

Did John Zabawa and Gary Dutko do well in the show?

Well there was a good size crowd in the morning. I was told by the afternoon it really slowed down. I talked to john later in his shop. But I must have missed him at the show.
