Well i finely made it to Gettysburg PA, and i must say what a great trip. Seeing everything in real life , and know what happened there 151 years ago just is amazing. the courage on both sides , just amazing!!
and of course i had to stop at the Gettysburg Toy soldier shop. A very nice store , i could have spent hours in there! Low and behold i ended up buying a keep sake!!

That is definitely a great buy!!, you hardly can be wrong about buying a standard bearer. I just wish that I have the funds to get the Iron Brigade. :smile2:

Great addition to your collection. Few things more symbolic of Gettysburg than the Iron Brigade in it's last great fight. FL does some of the better flags for this period. Chris

What a great way to remember you trip! Gettysburg is probably my favorite place on Earth. I have been there three times and look forward to going back later this year hopefully.

I love Gettysburg. I go a few times a year. The great thing about Gettysburg is that how ever many times you go, you always discover something new on every trip. The Gettysburg Toy Soldier Shop is a great store. I like the Gettysburg Antique Center as well. If you are looking for a hard to find set they usually have it. Lately I have had the itch to pick up and move to Gettysburg permanently.
