A Face Book Friend just released his movie about the Pacific War between Chile and Peru. Maybe it will get to the US in DVD. Looks a bit "shoe-string" but a work of love by the film maker.

Looks interesting. From my days when I was going to be Latin American History Professor (many eons ago), I believe this is the 1879 war, which also included Bolivia.

Well, since I have never heard of this war, I had to Google.

Evidently the war is still being fought. Note the message in the
block at the start of the Link. A South American version of the
American Civil War. :smile2:
