Gloss or Matte??? (1 Viewer)

Has anybody noticed this.........or is it my eyes.

I have a picture of a BJ02 and a BJ03.

Look at the sword scabbards.

One seems in gloss and one seems in matte.

Maybe it's my eyes.

If you own them, please look at yours and tell me.

I don't know if you can tell from my pictures.

I'm not trying to be picky......I just want someone else's opinion.

By the way, these are great looking figures, both sculpted and painted.

I have noticed John's figures tend to have a satin finish that picks up the light more than total matte. Look at the Rangers' blue berets for example. They always look shiny in my pix.

If you notice some K/C figures, there will be certain pieces of equipment that seem gloss coated, whereas the rest of the figure is matte..Michael

Titus, ty, I thought I was going crazy, the first two pictures don't show it that well, maybe this one does.

If you own both sets, look at them and let me know if some of the scabbards are in both matte and gloss.

They may be satin, but one is much glossier than the other.

I looked at the berets and they are all in matte, maybe the flash makes them appear glossy, but these sets are done in both gloss and matte on the scabbards. I'm sure of it.

I prefer the matte, I wonder if this was just a mistake. It's not a big deal, I just noticed that they didn't match.
