Hi ,have recently been going through my collection and noticed some of my gloss collection figures that have white gloss paint on them appear to be going yellow?I have Trophy,Britains that appear to be going yellow, have just also recently aquired a Trophy Hunt Scene they appear to be going yellow or it maybe they should be that colour?
Anybody else had this problem/concern?
I will try and post some images when i figure it out:eek:

It's either photo-degradation by UV or general oxidation due to crap paint chemistry.
I know that water based varnishes are not so prone to yellowing unlike the oil based gloss ones, so maybe it's similar for gloss paint?

Yellowing happens! Consider it a patina, and a mile stone in vintage toy soldiers:)

These are supposed to be Navy “White Jackets”-it's hard to tell from the photo but they are definitely yellowing(Navy "yellow jackets"??). This might have happened because of the paint/aging but then again under their base the paint is the same color so…..?
