I have the Glenn Miller Orchestra and Dance set. If I can find it, I'll post photos.

It is one of my all time favorites.

Those are great sets, Gid. I just pulled out about 30 sets from the glossy Crimean War series from storage. Hans has me digging around behind the walls pulling out trophy stuff for him, and I am finding all my other old glossy stuff as well.

Hi Louis,

It sounds like Hans is keeping you very busy. However, while you have all those wonderful glossy figures out of storage, could you take some photos of them for us? I would very much enjoy seeing the hidden portion of your collection and I am certain others of us would enjoy viewing your glossy figures as well!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Lou,

what is the story with the glenn miller sets? some are marked as GMB, others as AAFB and so on. I have a mix of both.

I think the earlier sets were marked "GMB" for Glenn Miller Band. I think Gerard and Howard woke up to the potential for liability when Andy was served with a claim letter by Patton's Estate, and then renamed the set the American Air Force Band (AAFB).

How many were shipped? I remember a story about an ex-employee destroying the masters and molds.

That I don't know. I never heard of the molds being smashed. By the way, are you going to try to make it to the Symposium this year?
