Hi,
From the 8th to the 11th May I'll be in London with my wife. I am planning to visit Tradition's shop and the Guards Toy Soldier Centre. Any tips on other shops or on what I can find at the Guards Toy Soldier Centre? Heard that some difficult to find sets might appear at the Guards. I am also planning on visiting the Imperial War Museum.

Many thanks,
Paulo

Gds musuem website is here. Best to enquire in advance as most ofthe stock is no in the shop.

Portobello rd antiques also has a site worth checking.

I maybe slightly biased here;),but the Imperial war museum is superb and well worth a visit. You should also check out Churchills cabinet war rooms.

I believe I have been there (War museum). They have some stunning piece; Jagdpanther, V2 (with exposed interior) and a Volksjager among others.
And at the time they had a reconstruction of a WWI trench based upon a BBC documentary. Must have been 5 years ago I think. Go there if you have the chance. And it's not too big for the wife to loose interest. Mine loved it.

We no longer have the BBC Trench but the original walk through Trench is still there and very popular.

You're right.
He's on the security watch list. He keeps attending, talking to complete strangers whilst pretending to be a tour guide, and then when he thinks no one is looking, tries to slip a Jagdpanther or Matilda out of the back door. ;)

They're on to you Rob, give it up now. :p

:DYou should try starting up a Jagdpanther in a museum without anyone noticing!:D

Brad your right about the Trench,i've had customers go in there and never come out!;)
