Recently picked up some of the newer WB Germans and very happy in quality and price, they work very well with my FL Germans.

I too was impressed with the latest WB German figures. The sculpts and faces are excellent and the painting is well done in matte colors. They're still not as detailed in equipment or painting as First Legion, but that's really only evident in zoomed in closeup photos. On a shelf they blend in very well. And at half the price of a First Legion figure, as you mentioned the price point for the quality is great.

The one improvement needed is to get rid of the silly oversized leaves on the bases. They really detract from amazing figures. On one of the newest figures, it looks like the leaves have shrunk in size and are painted more subdued, so hopefully that is the new standard. Or just eliminate them already.

I hope Ken continues to crank out more of the WW2 line.

Agree on all your points especially the large bases, could never figure that one out?? But the newer sets are much improved there as well, I hope Ken will give the American Oaras, Infantry another shot, those that were released a few years ago were not for me, so again hoping some new sculpts are in the works.

American Paras not Oaras🤣🤣🤙

I too would like to see Ken do some US Paratroopers with the same sculptor who has been doing the Germans. I'd love to get some Paras in the later period uniforms or some regular USGIs. But like you said, they weren't for me either. Most of the sculpts are just not as natural looking to me.

And despite the issues with the First Legion US Paras, the sculpts are so good that I'm ok just using them.

I have to agree with the below posts attesting to the quality of the WB WWII Germans! I began collecting these last year (already having a number of First Legion, War Park, and other figures in my collection) and was pleasantly surprised with the quality. I like the late war uniforms and the fact the figures do not have snow bases. The larger base sizes are also a positive aspect for me as they stand upright in a diorama and don’t fall over every time I move it. The figures work flawlessly with FL, JJD, War Park, etc.
