Is this the one about Bigfoot being seen or UFOs flying over the battlefield?

The Tabloid Channel, ops, I mean the History Channel...too bad that the programs don't match the title.

That was one of the reasons I cancelled my cable subscription--the good stuff that The History Channel produced was aired on its premium subsidiaries, like The Military Channel. Those, you had to pay extra for.

I've been without cable since the end of February, and I don't miss it one bit. As a matter of fact, I think my head has been clearing, since I don't have that Dreck coming in to my house 24/7 anymore. $70 a month, for 100 channels of nothing I wanted to see. A swindle.

The Terry Jones series on the barbarians (and the Middle Ages) were pretty well done, as well as "Days that Shook the World", but most of the fare is sadly lacking. Considering the number of years hominids have been wandering around creating history, the program rotation is rather limited. I can't quite figure out what watching loggers, crab fishermen, and Sasquatch have to do with history (although the bars around here are full of all of them-especially Sasquatch). It would seem that the execs at the History Channel are truly among those who refuse to learn from history and find themselve doomed to repeat it. -Emily

I have generally enjoyed the History Channel although one of my friends refers to it as the "Hitler" channel due to the large amount of material on that period. I would have to agree.

History channel can sure show some crap, as in UFO and Yetis and the story of earthworms, but they do show some good stuff. I prefer the Military channel, although I now know more about Hitler's bodyguards than should be legal. Have to run, MC is running it's daily "Hitler's Bodyguards" and I need the refresher.-- lancer

What do you think the History Channel is showing on Memorial Day.
Montser Quest all day, how appropriate on this day.

I could not believe their programing for this day of all days..I had to go to the Pentagon channel for actual Memorial Day stuff...Michael

Whoever runs the programing on that channel should be fired. A red-a***d monkey could do a better job of picking appropriate programing on Memorial Day. -- lancer

I also forgot the Glenn Ford movie, "The Man From The Alamo" where he plays a man who left the Alamo right before the final battle and has to clear his reputation because he survived. -- lancer

My apologies, this got posted incorrectly. -- lancer

What a bunch of morons are running (ruining) the History Channel. Monsterquest . . . what a bad joke. One question, have they ever found anything on that retarded show? I can't imagine what monsters, post cataclismic future scenarios and UFO's have to do with history.

History channel is becoming a big nothing. American Movie Classics (AMC) and Turner

Classic Movies ran all the war movies all weekend. I did watch Battleground and they have the movies tonight. Leadmen

The only thing I watch on History Channel anymore is Patton 360, can anyone please tell me why the canceled Mail Call?

Vick
