As I mentioned previously, it was always our intent to release another batch of the Gordon's with the full release being a large square or 3-4 rank line of battle. So here is what the almost complete picture looks like when the first release and the upcoming release are combined as was always intended. As you can see, the standing figures are in the rear rank with the fighters up in the first two ranks.

I say "almost complete" because since last I posted about our Gordon's additions, we added 4 more figures bringing up the total to 31 different figures. The four new figures aren't shown in this image but add a bit more color and variety to the overall square. Our goal with this release was to outdo what we had done with our British Guards Square. I'd like to think we've succeeded. Enjoy!

WHAT ...........31 Different Gordon Highlanders figures :eek: Now that's a release :D It's official I'll will be needing another display cabinet .
It's so Awesome to see First Legions plan for La belle Alliance oops I'm mean Waterloo coming together  Truly First Legion continue to out do even themselves ;) Best Regards Gebhard

That picture is just unreal! Matt, you have certainly outdone yourself this time. This series of Highlanders is impressive for thier amazing paintwork, but now they equally amazing due to the sheer number of them! Can't wait to see you top that in the future!:)

Excellent work.

The Highlanders in action look great. Of course the painting is good but without good sculpting and poses it would be for naught. These advance notably your now fine tradition of providing all three.

So we started with 13, then 14 more were announced and now we are getting 4 more after that!?! That is indeed excellent news.:D

I wonder how much time it took for Matt to open all those highlanders boxes ..... For me I would say it takes me at least 5 minutes to extract a FL figure from it's box .... :)

A full square would be extremely $ prohibitive.. But half a square like pictured in this thread with maybe 2 to 3 lines is quite possible.... :p

Cheers

Well that is a pretty big square, 17-18 per side by my count. That's 34 - 48 figures per side, plus the 5 for the middle. You need to be a figure manufacturer to pull that off.:D I am afraid, I won't be doing that size for sure. For the Guards, I decided to do a 6 by 7 square with two lines and that has taken me a while and I still have some Britains on the far side. Of course, the Rifles will allow me to maybe expand that sguare a bit, depending on the size of that release. No matter what though, I see many of these lads in my future, square or line or something else entirely.:D

It's photoshop effect, very OBVIOUS!

Wow, well if so, I am afraid it is not obvious to me and if it is one, I wish I could do that.;):D

Doesn't look photoshopped to me either. Why would you when you have the opportunity to play and set up all those figures. The temptation would be too great !!

That would be my feeling. What an opportunity that would be.:D Of course, I am sure I couldn't photoshop that well either.:(;)

Really? Why assume it photoshopped, since the guy who posted the pic owns the company? Wouldn't he (Matt) have access to that amount of his own figures?

The man lives in Hong Kong, and his stocks are sitting on mainland China.
