Do you have any of these glossy LL Gordons from the Anglo-Sudan War? These are photos from their website. I was just wondering what they are like in person?

Thanks Damian

You have a great collection of glossy 19th colonials:)
It's a pity that they are so hard to come by except on eBay and UK dealers for collectors in the states.

The Toy Soldier Shoppe in Milwaukee is the US stockist. He seems to have a really good stock. I bitterly regret not knowing about the shop back in 1998 when I visited Milwaukee. I order my LL direct from Mike. So it takes me about 9-11 months to get my order.

I have emailed Paul to find out what he has in stock.

Paul and Carl were at the West Coaster with their wives and mentioned doing some sightseeing this week in the sunny 72 degree Southern California weather.:)

Thanks Steve for the update. Is the shop closed all week?

These figures are very nice, I only collect LL Zulu Series, but I enjoy seeing them and the Nap. Figures too. I like to visit the Toy Soldier Shoppe about 4 times a year.

I am lucky I live in a suburb of Chicago, so the trip to Milwaukee is only about 90 miles.

Paul did say he was going to stay out in California for a few days after the show.

Damian,

Is this correct ? 9 to 11 months.

I have received my LL figures between 1 to 2 months from order.

Best, Raymond.

Hi Raymond

do you have any LL sudan or India sets that you might kindly post for me to see? The LL site photos are too small.

Thanks,

Randy

Hi Randy,

Unfortunately, I have only a few LL sets and these don't include any LL India figures.

I have 2 sets of LL 21st Lancers Battle of Omdurman, but no stored images of these to upload at present.

The images that I have thusfar posted in the forum are about the same size as that of the "Gordons" in your first post of this thread.

When I get a new camera, I shall be able to post images more often.

I think the key to the larger images is the software, as described in your article " Making a Photo Diorama"

Sorry I am not able to help much for the moment.

Best, Raymond.
