If you are a POA Collector - I have Great News For You !!

The POA Set : QM-08 - Wounded British Line Infantry - The 47th Reg. of Foot - is now one less ! :eek: There are only 749 Sets in the World - SET #232 ... IS NO MORE ! :D

I have purchase one of these and plan to convert the 47th Soldiers into 44th Foot Soldiers to join my troops in the BM world :eek: :eek:

This means your POA set increased in value !

Yes - transformation happens today ! ;)

The PROCESS IS NOW COMPLETE !

The 47th is now the 44th ! :D

Here are some pics of the procedure and result ! ;) - You will see the before and after - the ink pen points out the cuff / collar white - that must be changed to a dark yellow. The JJD Cert. is pictured to show this set has become no more ! :cool:

The Man in the Middle was from the BM-05 Set and used as a model for the others.

that is a great opportunity to enlarge the 44th contingent.
Will you be tackling the pants too and do them in the buff color?

:confused: :confused: Not sure what you mean ?

I already matched the paint and repainted the figures as shown below.
 
Ron,
when you look at your BM-05 marching trooper, under the red coat he is wearing a buff shirt and buff pants while the troopers of the 47th are wearing red shirts and red pants. I don't know how significant that is and if it is even necessary, just an observation.
Here is 44th Flagbearer compared to two of the 47th and it gives a good view of the difference.

Yea, saw that too - but decided that I was doing good with the lapels and cuffs - why take a chance on the pants - since it is hard to see, I decided to let it go - at least for now. I guess I could come back later with a better paint brush set and more experience in painting under my belt.
