In my humble opinion these new TG Spartans are the business. I love the Roman series and have about a 100 or so of these wonderful figures but I think I am liking the Spartans just a little bit more. I doubt the range will be as extensive as the Romans but some Greek and Persian cavalry and maybe a heavy Persian chariot would go down a treat. This era is a really colourful one to collect with East of India (long gone) Conte (now long gone as well), K&C and FL in on the act you could if your pockets were deep enough produce a wonderful extensive dioramas of the Greek wars. My small offering is of an inter city state battle between Sparta and Athenia. With four more Spartans ordered from TG this can only grow with the Persians not far behind.

Wonderful stuff and lets hope TG make this a fairly extensive range to collect and its not a Greek tragedy.

Gary

They do look good Gary. If I were not collecting Romans these would be very tempting. I think mounted figures in any series are usually the most spectacular pieces, so I hope you see some in this series.
Robin.
