That Gate is seeing some traffic go through it today Bob! :rolleyes2:^&grin Very nice once again and im curious, but how long is the walls on either side?

Not longer than what you see Tom - but the walls are super simple and sections can be added in no time - but space is my problem :confused:
 
Thanks for the compliments friends. The gate is a trial utilizing 10mm foamboard and 'Megatreat' - I wanted to see if the combination was suitable for the architecture of the period. The material is great and, of course, the figures are just excellent - I need to practise a bit more with technique...and my architecture was a bit off requiring that I cut my gates down to open them inside the arch. The next one will be hollow so that I can have full height gates that still open, and the gate house will also need to be deeper. BTW the bricks on top of the wall were put out by Del Prado about a decade ago in a project to build a medieval fortress 'brick-by-brick', and the scale was approx 15mm.
