Greetings guys, I'm just getting into this scale after several years of 1/6th scale figure and vehicle collecting. I'm based in Colorado Springs, CO.

The K&C WWII soldiers and vehicles caught my eye over at a sixth scale dealer's site and voila-here I am. What's funny is that while WWII has been my primary interest, the Napoleonic, Roman and Crusader lines look pretty interesting too.

I look forward to learning more about this scale and all that it has to offer-and yeah, I've already figured out that the secondary market is NOT for me at this point...new and current releases will have to suffice-lol.

Mike

BTW-Hopefully I posted this in the appropriate place...

Welcome Mike. You have joined the hobby in the heart of the golden age. There has never been better quality or selection than there is today. Enjoy!

Welcome Mike,

You're right, Romans (plus Barbarians) and Crusaders are pretty interesting and, if you have a chance, take a serious look at the SOHK figures at a dealer place, they are really superb.

Pierre.

Welcome to the gang Mike. My name is 'victory' and I've been a K&C addict for the last three years.
All kidding aside, you'll find a knowledgable & nice group of folks here in which to share your new scale addiction.

Hay man, welcome to happiness. This forum is so cool its hot. Thanks to Shannon and Pete of course.

You would not like the early stuff anyway. The new stuff is just sooooo good. I collect WWII, Napoleonics, and the French and Indian Wars and now that K&C has released them, the Middle Ages are calling me like the Sirens tempting Odyssues towards the rocks of Sirenum scopuli, I must resist. But then, like the Borgs of our modern mythology, "resistance is futile."

Mike

Welcome on board from K&C UK.

Welcome aboard Mike;
Keep an eye on your wallet man! Before you realize, a bunch of orders will be sent to your K&C dealer.
Enjoy collecting and the forum.
Eddy:D

Welcome on board Mike,

Don't fall for the trap of believing that 1/30th scale will take up less space than 1/6th scale. Otherwise you could start buying "a few items" and after a few spending splurges find yourself sleeping in the dog kennel as your wife and kids convert all your shelf space into display space.

Regards

Let's not scare the poor man:( , yet any way. Besides, the dog house is perfect for storing empty boxes :) and you can always trade the family for more new releases...oh yeah, your not supposed to do that are you...

Thanks much for the kind words guys.

One thing that's painfully obvious... you sure can't move to this scale with the expectation that you can 'economize' (lol), though I do hope to have extra space- a least for a while.

Chuck, I'm retired law enforcement, not military-though my son will be commissioned as an Army 2nd Lt. next spring upon graduation.

If there are any Colorado collectors, I'd welcome a chance to hear from you.

Welcome to the forum Mike. I collect K&C, Britains both glossy and matte and plastic also. No 1/6 scale, I do have some. Nice group of guys here and I learned many new things about figures, armor and collecting. I am running out of room but still find places to squeeze stuff in. Retiered in Michigan. Leadmen
