Hi Guys,

Just arrived in earlier today from Milan after a very hectic few days (but very enjoyable ones) in Rome and Milan...It's always good to see so many old friends and quite a few new ones in Italy on this trip. I actually got to see the Vatican (albeit briefly on Saturday) and stand in St. Peter's ...Weather fantastic, cold but beautifully sunny with clear blue skies.

Lots of enthusiasm for the upcoming Swiss Guards and the "Fury" Sherman and assorted 'dismounted' tankers! And lots of excellent Italian food and vino...

In answer to a couple of points...
The new R.A. Gun is a brand-new sculpt... not a reissue of the older one.
Dr. Watson, contrary to one person, does not look like a refugee from the Old West, however Brad is entitled to his opinion. Actually, my two main influences were the Nigel Bruce character in the old Sherlock Holmes movies with a dash of Jude Law added (costume-wise that is).

Anyway, best wishes to one and all from a cold and grey Paris and au Revoir pour le moment!

That's good news Andy, thanks for clarifying that point :)

Guns and Gunners, you have made my day :)

Enjoy Paris,

John

Hope you find time in your travels Andy to announce the December releases. Most importantly stay safe. Robin.

Did this round of Dispatches get a Papal dispensation, or were you there for confession?

See you in London!

ATW!

Hi Guys,
Paris is great in all weathers and every season...I love it...Off to visit Les Invalides later this morning and meeting some collectors for lunch.
For Brad...Am staying at a terrific small boutique hotel in the 2nd. Arrondisement where have stayed before. Weather , despite what Poppo says,is still grey and cold! But who cares...I'm in Paris!!!
Sorry Paul, no Papal dispensations for me in Rome...But another great European city to visit and discover...especially when you have 2 guides as knowledgeable as Enrico and Stefano.
Best wishes to one and all, Au Revoir,
Andy

You won't have time for lunch Andy,

you will need all day just looking at all the NAPOLEONIC uniforms and equipment .....

I needed 4 hours and didn't have time any of the other exhibits :(

Yes, Paris is the best. We stay in a place in the 6th Arrondissement. Unfortunately, the place was taken over and are looking for a new place.

Jouir!

Brad
