Guardsman: Grenadier Guards 1898 (1 Viewer)

Nice photo, Randy and thanks for the link to your summary piece...also very nicely done as usual. As you are well aware, this is an area I have had a considerable interest in. The Grenadier Guards regiment represented here formed part of the 2nd British Brigade which joined the 1st Bde. I believe some time between the Atbara battle and Omdurman towards the end of Kitchener's reconquest of the Sudan. Great looking figure. :)

Silent Sands: 1898

A Grenadier Guard scans the horizon of the Nubian Desert during the Anglo-Sudan War. His Slade-Wallace pattern equipment and quilted neck cloth are clearly visible.

Nice photos Randy. I would like to see a Sudan series in either gloss or matt. Action figures firing prone, kneeling and standing would be great as long has they don't make some guy swinging a rifle over his head like they make in plastic. John
