What is the difference between the company B and future release company A halftracks?
Is the large MG meant to pivot up and down in its bracket like the two smaller ones do?
Mine seems to be fixed in an upward position, and I don't want to force it to pivot downward if it's not made to move that way. - Thanks
- Thanks so much. I will give it a little gentle persuasion. {sm2}Dragon, I had the same issue with the .50 cal M2 machine gun on my Britains Halftrack. It is meant to pivot and with a tiny bit of force, or maybe some prying with an exacto knife or small screwdriver, the pintle mount will come unstuck and pivot.

It may be paint locking them up…all of the ones I have opened are able to move but I can see how easy it would be to lock them up. They were designed with a press fit that should be tight enough so they can stay put. The .30 caliber M1919s on the side are loose enough to position with the crew figures that are coming.
I hope this helps a bit!

Thanks, it's all good. I think it was a little paint sticking it in place.
I'll be looking forward to those upcoming crew figures to get along with an additional Halftrack.
- Also, a standing tanker for firing the Sherman's MG from behind the turret would be a welcomed addition. There's a great scene if ''Fury'' showing just that, with Shermans and armored infantry advancing on a German position.
Apparently we are on the same page as that is one of the new Collectors Club offerings that we will make available for our Symposium in Gettysburg this year. I have a great photo of a GI firing the M2 from the rear deck of an M4A3 (76). Our event will be at the WWII American Experience Museum and will be our usual 3 day program with workshops, dinner and guest speakers, and it is open to everyone. I will have Ericka post updated information on that event here later this week.
