I remember Conte doing some WW2 hand to hand sets a while back and was thinking K&C could make some seriously good sets here.I'd love to see something a little different, unusual even but illustrating the personal, physical struggle for life and death in combat. My biggest wish would be to see perhaps an FJ from the Crete range on the floor whilst being attacked by say a man and woman armed with farming tools/rock.It needn't be too gory but just shows a moement where ordinary folk stood up to fight the invader.

Or how about an Arnhem British Para and a German soldier locked in a life and death struggle?.These sorts of sets could both portray the action and humanity of those involved, and would make for some exciting scenes.

I'll second that one - the Arnhem range especially would be great for some hand to hand sets. These could be 2 figure sets - a para and an SS trooper for instance in each.
Conte have done some excellent 2 figure hand to hand sets and so have Little Legion - i'm sure K&C could do likewise.

Yes the Conte versions look like they are straight out of Saving private Ryan don't they.Another good scenario might be D Day,the confusion of the US Para drop on the night/morning of 5th/6th June would lend itself very well, can imagine a US Para silently doing away with a German guard.

Yep, I could go some sets like that. I've always liked Conte's take on this, but the paint lets these figures down, (or would do if you could get hold of them ).
The Trophy and LL hand to hand sets look fantastic as well, so I'd like to see K&C turn there hand to this type of set.

Collector's Showcase has had just these kind of sets on the market for a while now and they are quite good. -- lancer

Yep i quite like the set of the British para fighting off 2 SS troopers - that's exactly the type of set i'd like to see more of.

But with one of the paras using a cricket bat :)

Nice sporting touch there;)

I think hand to hand sets can add both depth and action to a scene, imagine those Arnhem dios with some life or death brawls amongst the rubble, would look really good.
