Walked into the staff restaurant for my brekkie this morning and asked the manager why no bunting and cross of St George, just as they do for St Patrick's and St Andrew's? Answer: Not allowed, this is a multi-cultural building!

Make of that as you will, I wonder what it would have been like if we had such a 'multi-cultural' ethos, culture and political correctness in 1940 as we do now or did we then but called it something else??

Anyway, happy St George's Day to you all, roast beef, yorkshire puddings and pints of best is the order of the day (...but alas not in the staff restaurant!)

God Bless .............

They are over in june again, so lots of choc etc will be coming. Mind you i can get that stuff in the uk shops over here, for inflated prices though, $1 for a packet of crisps
