Just wondering if K&C have stopped doing diorama pieces? Hasn't been a new item for quite a while? There are plenty of alternatives but what they did put out was top class..pontoon bridge, fall of berlin pieces..anything in the works..

Good question. The last SP, the Desert Oasis Well, came out over a year ago.
I don't know how long it's been since something big came out. It's been longer than I've been collecting. The French Farmhouse and the pieces you mentioned were great. I wish they would do a lot more like that.

I Agree 100% The K&c Pieces Are Some Of The Best Out There,i Just Got My Mortar Pit And I Have The Artillery Bunker And The Detail Is Spot On!! I Do Hope They Continue With The Line, because Without Good Diorama Items It Just Takes Away From The Set Up....sammy

K&C have made a Pontoon bridge in the past, and also made some German figures to give the impression of them building it:eek::eek:

I missed it when it was first out, but I accquired it later, and I have to say it was a terrific buy:D:D:D:D:eek::eek:;):D

Agree, one of the only things I was willing to pay "the premium" for from the 'retired' secondary market, the pontoon bridge is great for displaying vehicles and figures, and is unique in that I haven't seen any alternatives from competitors. The dinghy's go great with it also!. Bring on the Allies's pontoon or Bailey Bridge for Market Garden:D

Here's a link to a couple of photo's of bridges in WW2

Absolutely agreed - the French farmhouse and wall section really were lovely pieces, versatile enough to be used in a diorama setting anywhere from the Battle of Normandy to the Napoleonic Wars. New releases like that really would be spot on.

Speaking as a relatively new collector, I suppose your first priority is to concentrate on the figures themselves, but now I'm starting to build up a decent sized collection, I am starting to covet some scenic pieces to really set them off. Fingers crossed there's more like that in the pipeline!

Molloy.

Did anyone else get the Treefrog rivet from Shannon today,i really like the look of the new rubble sections from JG Miniatures.
