Announced with great Fanfare on 29th of December 2020 the Falklands series has so far seen precious few releases.

We were promised the Scorpion Tank in the first Quarter of 2023................ Well into the second quarter now................No sign of it, no update.

We have had various mentions, hints etc over the years as to additions to the range - Vehicles (plural), Fighting Argentinians and Brits, H Jones personality figure, Artillery -
No news or updates or anything concrete on these.

Plenty of other new ranges (already with more releases) have appeared since the Falklands series was announced.

Just a fair question Andy -

Have you dropped the series?

Roy.

Far from dropping the series Roy!
Just unavoidable delays caused by three years of Covid and lockdowns that created all kinds of upheavals and difficulties up on the mainland. Europe and the States opened up long before China and Hong Kong did and some factories in the PRC closed down and never reopened so schedules had constantly to be revised and altered…It’s a miracle anything managed to get released at all…But we are getting back to normal and our #1 factory is working on the Scorpions and a whole bunch of other ranges too.
2 weeks ago I also handed over to our best sculptor 7 BRitish Paras going into action at Goose Green for sculpting …More details later…
All the best,
Andy.

Many, many thanks for your swift and reassuring reply Andy :salute::

I love the series, and I know a lot of other collectors do too. It's just that I'm getting on a bit now (seriously.......) and I'd hate to peg out before the series gets into it's stride :D

Best Wishes and thanks again for taking the Falklands project on. (Not for the feint hearted I know......) :wink2:

Roy

I am with you Roy, always wishing my life away waiting for releases and thinking who’s going to win out. 10 figures for the Falklands series since December 2020. I have watched every YouTube episode, have a number of books and two permanent shelf displays and duplicated the figures to 20, all to keep the enthusiasm up. I appreciate Andy’s dilemma and it is what it is, but the Falklands passion for me is now on a back burner and I am not worrying about it. I will revisit it when something turns up, in the meantime fortunately I have other series to feed my addiction. Still I understand your frustration Roy. Robin.
