The Airfix British paint up well but if we want to get fussy they are all "flankers" and you realy need more "centre company"
I never used any of the other Airfix sets just went with timpo highlanders and pretty much all the ACTA sets.
What i would like to se is a set of fusiliers the only ones i know of are ACTA which are long sold out!

WOW are those pretty! The terrain on the bases looks great!

It's tough for a manufacturer to cover all the unit variations and uniform variations within a unit.

Classic Toy Soldiers may still have those ACTA figures.

Cheers..yes pretty but can they fight?
Maybe not your scale but the perry 28mm plastic french infantry is about the closet you can get to a complete unit in a box.

Beautiful figures but too many tiny bits for my eyes and fingers.

I forgot about those British troll/Hobbitt figures that Victrix or what ever the gamer company tried to do in 54mm. Their 28mm figures are nice but the style didn't translate well too 54mm. I still see the same unloved 54mm box sets on the local store shelf.
