Peter had a look for me in amongst the broken ones introduced at I think an earlier Chicago or West Coaster show and found 2 hidden unbroken ones and several damaged ones in boxes somewhere in their storage area. I bought one of the unbroken ones (assuming it would be damaged on shipping. It arrived with the crane boom detached (reglued) and one of the front mudguards sheared off (reglued).

Peter put the damaged ones (no crane) on e-bay.

The model is fantastic - very detailed, especially the recovery equipment. Louis Badolato told me I would love the vehicle and not to miss the chance to get one. He was right!

As Phanom Warrior pointed out, think that the Bergepanther is one of he best vehicles ever made in this hobby, bar none. Grab one before it is too late!

After reading this post, I was going to take another look at this vehicle on the Treefrog website, but its gone! It was there yesterday. I wonder if Jagd panther bought it?

In my mission to acquire one of each major armour type produced by HB, I think I have discovered a cache of Bergepanthers - all 3 versions - Summer, Winter and Fall. Now that Treefrog has sold their last Bergepanther, I can reveal the source. It's Augghhh Thud

But seriously, if anyone wants the location, you can PM me.

Phantom, thanks for the offer, but I'm basically a treefrog loyalist. Although I do buy from CS. Anyway, these past few months I was playing "catch up" as there were no new sets that grabbed me. But it looks like some interesting months ahead with KC and CS. I'm still mulling over the HB field kitchen though.
