Anyone else watch this? Very funny. Comes on after EastBound & Down. Of which it is a little better this year than last.

I've seen the first three episodes, and I agree. But I'd expect no less from Stephen Merchant. His American colleagues, Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, who helped produce the American version of "The Office", are along as producers on this series.

Some comparisons to "Seinfeld" are inevitable (4 main characters, 3 men and a woman, for example), but are superficial, I think, because the characters themselves are different. Stuart is a great character, who consistently shoots himself in the foot as he tries to score with as many women as he can. Jessica does the same, in terms of her career, rather than in her love life.

And I keep remembering David St-Hubbins' description of Spinal Tap's one drummer, John "Stumpy" Pepys, "...this great blond geek of a fellow".

This is one that I would buy, when the disc eventually comes out.

Prost!
