Have to give props here, that looks absolutely incredible, SPR/BOB goes to the Far East.

Wow, a must see.

I think I read somewhere it will air in February of 2010.

I'm counting the days.

Looks fantastic!.Can't wait to see it,and its going to fit very nicely alongside SPR an BOB.I grew up watching War films from the 60's and 70's and they did the best they could with the special effects they had in those days,but War films have taken a quantum leap in this dept since SPR and Pacific looks like another milestone on this journey,bring it on!

I'm not sure, that is a good question. I would say probably not, since its a big business and they generally know that they have you right where they want too. The series is suppossed to last for 10 hours, if its on for an hour a week, that would be 2 & 1/2 months of programming, so guess we will have to wait and see. They certainly did well with the Sopranos, but when that ended, alot of people bailed............Stryker

Yes I guess it all boils down to those two choices. I did for the Sopranos, so I'm sure I will do it for this, don't think I can wait till it comes out on dvd--smile...............Stryker

HBO got smart when the Sopranos was a huge hit; you can't just get HBO, you have to buy a package of all the HBO channels and others as well. My cable system charges 33.00 a month for HBO and the six HBO channels that is part of that package.

So no, you can't just get HBO for that series....................
