If he who dies with the most toys wins, I think our good friends Jack Matthews and Jim Hillestad are going to be declared the winners. Have you seen these gentlemen's collections? I would conservatively estimate they each have in excess of 35,000 toy soldiers, tanks, planes, vehicles and boats in their collections. If you get a chance to visit Jim's Toy Soldier Museum in the Pocanos, don't pass it up. He bought two houses, side by side, one for him and his wife to live in, one for his toys to live in. It is truly exceptional. I've only seen photos of Jack's home and collection, but the best way to decribe it is he had a house (more like a Castle with a great room with 35 foot high ceilings) built and then filled it with his vast collection. I'm pretty proud of my collection, but it is no where near the scope of these collections. They have to be seen to be believed.
