Greg,

I'll be in Paris too at that time, 1 - 6 June, so may bump into you in one of the shops???

Also check out Les Invalids (Army Museum) for their collection of toy soldiers.

and I'm also planning on seeing that because last time I was in Paris in 2010 they weren't on display, but I do remember seeing them in the 1970's on my first trip to Paris.

Hi Guys,

When I was there several years ago I found two that were really interesting, one was by the Louve and I am looking for the address I have it some where the other was Au Plat d'Etain
16 rue Guisarde, 75006 Paris, France (Saint-Germain-des-Pres) which is right by St Sulpice which also had a flea market that was interesting. The figures were mainly Mignot types in glossy paint and antiques. But well worth a visit.

Thanks John. Looks like the link to the Paris Army museum TS collection in my post above didn't survive the forum migration, so here it is again: https://forum.treefrogtreasures.com/album.php?albumid=1757

As I indicated in my other related Paris post, you have to visit https://www.lesdrapeauxdefrance.com/bio This is where I bought my first TS and got the collecting bug...It's the candy store for TS. If you need any other tips on Paris (restaurants, etc.) feel free to PM me. I lived and worked 10 years in the city of lights...

That must have been quite an experience to live there for 10 years. That is something I would love to do if my French wasn't so poor.

I am headed that way in September and had put this on my list after I saw your earlier post. The website is an absolute feast :salute::

I've been pushing them to get an online retail site. After relentless pestering for a year, it looks like I'm winning!!!! I've never been butbam "friends" with them on Facebook and they have amazing figures.
