I am doing a D-day landing.. any thoughts between build-arama, k&C and figarti

They each have some drawbacks...

build-arama seems small

K&C - rare and expensive

Figarti - one of the two traps is attached to a figure

Any thoughts? I was not planning on doing a sea wall etc

There's another option - build your own. A bit of Evergreen styrene H-beam and a few other bits and you can have terahedrons, hedgehogs, etc. There is some interesting material in Steven Zaloga's new book "The Devil's Garden" that covers the German obstacles on the beaches.

Check out Formtech or Hobby Bunkers' diorama pieces. You'll find pill boxes, dragon teeth, trenching, etc. Charlie Brown is correct, Conte has some great pieces. There's quite a bit of Figarti stuff on sale if you look around. If you really want to go inexpensive check out BMC's D-Day set.
