What would be a fair asking price for an Heirloom Set No. 1. I am, regrettably, thinking of parting with this set and letting someone else enjoy it but I have seen such a range of prices. Thanks for your insights and thoughts. Tom

Hi There

Can you post some photos and a few more details and then I can give you a ball park price.

Dave

In 1997, when Imperial's six-figure sets were selling at a list price of $75 or $80, the two Heirloom sets were listed at $655. Check to see if you have one of the special ten sets that were painted as Gordon Highlanders. They were packed in the same wooden box with the Cameron Highlander label, so you will have to check out their kilts to see which version you have. I would say at least $750 for the Camerons and $1,000 for the Gordons. I have all four versions of H1 and H2.

At the West Coaster last week, I saw both sets on sale during room trading by The Old Toy Soldier Home in Vista, CA for $1,000 each. I don't know if they sold them or not.
