Just preordered Hellfire (Jack Tanner 4), James Holland's new novel. Rob got me hooked on the series.

As good as the Jack Tanner books are, I enjoyed James Holland's RAF novels "The Burning Blue" and "A Pair of Silver Wings" even more.

Nice one Louis, I've done the same and it should be here soon. I've not read any of the RAF novels but they sound good, his recent book on the Battle of Britain was very enjoyable.

I highly recommend Holland's RAF novels. They are the best historical fiction I've read about the RAF, bar none.
