The V2 soars in the air ,as the devil's disciples look on, the ballistic rocket born in hell.

excellent mate..

they're either watching the V2 launches

or,

dancing to Saturday Night Fever. :D

This was a total accident, I was trying to photograph some pics for the railhead scene with commanders coming out of a bunker. I have a basic camera (pentax optio -$80). I wanted to photograph in daylight, but the light available meant that the flash was automatically kicking in. In frustration I put my finger over the flash to block the bright light but the light came out through my finger as a red glow.:D:D

You certainly got some wonderful pictures, and taken with an $80 camera!

You have a talent for framing the picture. Your pictures were of professional

caliber. My wife saw them and asked me to inquire what type of camera you

were using.

We are all amateur photographers, my wife and daughter are very good......I

am ah not so good.:D We do use Nikon Professional Cameras in both 35mm

and digital format. I have paid more then $80 for tax on some of the lens we

use......and I don't think I could have taken photos as nice as yours.

Great job!

So it was a finger filter! Talk about serendipity!

Very creative. :)

Accidental discovery is the father of invention.

Cool, same camera I've got. I don't know how you work such wonders with yours though. I imagine it involves a good deal of prepatory work to get the ambient lighting adjusted right. I find my camera sometimes takes excellent photos and other times it refuses to focus on something right in front of it.

Nice one RH.
I use a Canon Powershot G9....absolutely delighted with it and the versatility it offers. But I'm going to bear in mind how you achieved your red glow without the use of fancy filters and so on. Just goes to show. It might have been an accident but it's still an amazing effect.

Cheers

I had the same problem when I first got it for a few months and thought the camera was useless (I of course figured at the begining that I didn't need the now disappeared instruction booklet ).If you press the mode button it seems to switch it onto automatically focusing on objects, and you get fantastic shots.
As regards the light, its all natural with the australian winter sun. If I was back living in Ireland I'm sure I'd be spending a fortune on batteries for the flash cos you never see the sun come out back there, even in summer:D:D:D
