Hello everyone,

Long time "Lurker" who's finally done the right thing and registered! I need to scratch your collective minds. I've damaged a whole bunch of boxes for my John Jenkins and First Legion figures (fortunatley the figures are ok). I'm after replacements, but after searching the net I've drawn a blank. Am after boxes with black foam inserts. I can cut the holes myself. Anyone know of a place I can get 30 or so from in the UK?

Thanks

Lou

There was a member some time ago that collected Britains. He would have certain favored regiments repainted and reboxed, but with custom made boxes and labels. There are small box companies out there that might recreate the boxes, but the JJ and FL cover art would be protected from copy. You could also contact the mfg. direct and see if you could make a deal with them, but most of these TS companies do not stock product outside of original sales and productin numbers...Michael

Here is a link to Wm Hocker's box supplier. There are probably a few similar companies in the UK. This will give you some ideas as to what may be available, and what to ask for. http://www.brimarpackaging.com/Page/136/setup-boxes
Giles Brown at Dorset Toy Soldiers (dorsetsoldiers.com) used to sell boxes. I'm not sure if he still does, but he could tell you his supplier if he doesn't.

Dorset Soldiers does sell boxes - last time I was there I saw some in blue - with WHITE foam inserts. jb

There are people on ebay selling replica boxes, mainly for cars. Basically they just print whatever they want onto card, then cut & fold, but you need somewhere to get printing done on card, not paper. May be worth asking "replicaboxes" on ebay.co.uk.
As for the foam, you can buy it in any colour nowadays.
