Hello to everyone in the world of toy soldier collecting! My name is Cameron and I am new to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I am in North Carolina and am a huge civil war buff. I have been collecting the Britains line of AMC for a few years, however I only have a few figures (mostly generals that I have picked up on my various trips to battlefield parks). I am slowly expanding my collection however from online sites. I have always been a little cautious of buying these figures on the internet because I always like to see them in person first to make sure they are of good paint and such (guess I am wired like that haha). Anyway I was wondering what are some good sites to purchase AMC Britains? Thanks!

I'd say you found one of the best already in Treefrog Treasures( non bias plug). There are others but since you are using the Forum I would suggest Pete or Shannon or one of their fine staff will be happy to fullfill your collecting needs. There are others that are members here on the Forum but this is a good start. Minutemen,Hobby Bunker, Sierra Toy Soldiers to name a few..... Troops of Time?? A few off the top of my head and just my opinion.....

Welcome aboard Cameron. I am very pleased to hear you are collecting our American Civil War figures. We are very lucky to have a wonderful group of retailers and I would be hard pressed to recommend one in particular. All of the ones that these guys recommend are excellent. Welcome on board to an excellent hobby, I only have a few ACW myself as I'm a Naps buff, but you can't go wrong with W Britains! I have had great pleasure in dealing with the folks here at Tree Frog, they really are top notch, Sierra Toy Soldiers is another good one, W Britains themselves, and Ebay is also a good option if you have a decent grasp of what the real value of things is so that you don't buy over priced. I've not had a single bad experience on Ebay myself so if you do go that route have no fear. Once again welcome and enjoy!
