Of this batch, I can't place the maker, though these:

look like they depict Belgians, and these:

are French, Napoleonic and Republican.

I can't identify the maker, though they remind me, in the style of the paint jobs, of some of the Starlux metal figures that have been shown in the past few days. I'm afraid that your shot of the base:

is a little too blurry for me to make anything out on it.

Let's see what the rest of the TF Irregulars make of them, prost!

Thanks for this first batch of info
Much appreciate

The picture of the base show a W with a crown

Chivalry, seems to be Flemish Communiers of The Golden Spurs Battle

Thanks again for taking the time
Best

You're very welcome! I like puzzles like this.

That's great, but if you could take a better-focused picture and post it, I'd like to see it as clearly as possible for myself. Not that I don't trust you, I'd just want to see it myself.

Prost!

These are all by French maker Miniatures Historiques de Soldats de Plomb - MHSP

I have painted loads of them, so check more out on my web page

Thanks for the new photo of the mark, Mirof. I'm not familiar with it, offhand, though maybe some of our forum brothers on your side of the Atlantic will recognize it. I'll see what I can find, in the meantime.

If I didn't know better, I'd say the Kaiser made them ;) The mark reminds me, too, of Saki's short story, "When William Came".

Prost!

That knight on the horse is a William Britain copy and so is the other figure on a horse.

That's interesting, Scott. It's probably not a licensed copy then, is it. I take it that's a copy of an old hollowcast Britains knight?

Prost!

The knight itself is not but the horse is. From the old hollowcast Knights of Agincourt range.

Thanks for all you feedback
I bought the full set 23 lancers, 6 bowmen, 3 crossbowmen, flag bearers, 3 axemen, 1 knight ( Earl of Namur )
54mm, solid lead, round . Seems they represent the Flanders force at the battle of the Golden Spurs
I like them, and it seems it was also a good deal on eBay ( circa 5$ a piece )
All with the crown on the base

That pic of the knight is definitely a re-make of an old Britain's hollowcast figure - originally sculpted by Roy Selwyn Smith for "The Knights of Agincourt" range, which he then sold to Britains back in the 1950's.

As Scott (Britfarmer) pointed out, the horse (and base) is a copy - whilst the rider has been reworked. Easy enough to do by changing arms, head and even weapons. I have four similar figures in my collection, of that piece - all painted up differently and adapted in that way - though none has that mark cast under the base. jb
