help me out (1 Viewer)

I'll say, with a little bit of smart-a$$ery, first, read the other threads in this sub-forum :D

Seriously, though, there are a couple of threads here that may help:

I used Photobucket to store the photos that I post online. There are other websites that offer the same service, eg, Fotki. They provide the tags that you would include in a post in a forum such as this, that then links over the Internet and retrieves and displays your image.

Here is an example:

If you hit Reply and choose Quote, you'll see the tag that Photobucket generated, and which this webpage uses to bring back the image.

One disadvantage to this is that if something changes with the file at Photobucket, the links are broken. Plus, I have to upload everything to Photobucket from my PC, which is an extra step. Those were pointed out by the guys over at the HZ-Forum. But on the other hand, it's no more or less work than resizing the photos as I take them off my digital camera, in my opinion.

Hope that helps, and welcome to the forum!

Prost!

Oh sureeeeee.... But the Quinness in front of the Irish guy!

LOL!

Actually, that's a Brooklyn Brewing Company chocolate stout, that's an old picture from a couple Christmases ago, when I just got my camera. An appropriate subject for a test shot ;)

Prost!

But we digress--Kilroy hasn't responded.

Were you able to get pictures uploaded, SgtKilroy?
