I have recently acquired a group beautifully painted Romans and Knights. They are all very highly detailed.
Unfortunately the bases were blackened so I can not find any marks. The look to me like very early AeroArt or First Legion figures. I do not collect but would like to id manufacturer. I do not collect them, I would like to know a manufacturer before I part with them. :)

yes- Mikes right- these are Model figures- if the bases arent clearly marked then it is safe to say they are bootlegged-nice paint job! shame though that the company that made them never realized the value of these in particular.

This models makes the company from Ekaterinburg "EK-Casting"
However, if the figure isn't have the stigma it is illegal copy
The level of painting is close to the Semi-collector
The style of painting from St. Petersburg (private artist)
