Help with Images (1 Viewer)

I'm trying to add images in the form of attachments to a post but can't figure out how in the world to do it. Would someone be so kind as to post instructions on how to do this, perhaps under the form of "Uploading Images for Dummies"?

I gave up on the picture posting hassle via photobucket, etc. I went out and bought a Nikon coolpix S3100 camera. This camera allows the user to go into the menu options and select the picture size prior to snapping the photos. I select 600x800 and they upload on the site no problem through use of the cameras SD card. :rolleyes2:

The images are already uploaded into my files, but I still don't seem to have success loading them into my posts. I follow the guidelines given in the TF Forum, but can't seem to get from here to there. What am I doing wrong?

FORGET the process on the FORUM ... never got it to work.{sm2}

I found using Photobucket very simple.

You simply set up an account at Photobucket web site (3-4 min) an "upload any pics" from your computer, camera or USB stick.

Then, once they are in a Photobucket album you click on that picture and click on the "IMG". It copys it into a buffer and then you paste in the Fourm thread. It took me 5 min to do the photos in the JJD thread about Chippewa. "Piece-o-Cake"

Let me know if still having issues.

Al,

Go to the bottom of the page where it says Manage Attachments and click on that, which will bring you to another screen. At the upper right hand of the Manage Attachments screen, you will see a green + sign. Click on that, which will say Add Files. I assume you want to upload files from your computer so click on Select Files and from there find find the image(s) you want to post, choose your images, then click on Upload Files, then click on Done at the bottom right of the Manage Attachments screen and you are done. When you submit your post, your pictures should show up.

Hope that gets it done for you.

I second photobucket. It would be difficult to exceed my own ineptness with computers and cameras, but PB offers a fairly simple way to post pictures here once you get the hang of it. Just remember if you delete a picture on photobucket it will also delete on the forum.
