A while back I put some Woodland Scenics Snow on my Blockhouse and now I'm trying to get it off.I put the snow base on before I put the snowflakes so it wouldn't come off.Now I want to take it off and most of it came off but there's like a stain on it.I'm soaking it in water and dishsoap. Will this hurt the paint? It doesn't seem to be working too good. Most of the stain won't come off in the cracks between the shingles.Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with the coverings, adhesives or paints that they use, because I've never used their products. But once you have solved the solution issue (pun), there are a couple of tools that you should be able to find around the house.

A toothpick can be used to get into cracks and other scribed detail, to remove paint or adhesive, once it's been dissolved. Old sewing needles and straight pins can serve the same purpose.

An old toothbrush will also be useful.

if the stain is paint or someother coloring agent that has soaked into the material, you might just have to re-paint it, at this point. It's kind of like removing stain from wood. Once it's soaked into the pores, you have either to sand down to a level below the deepest penetration of the stain, or find a removing agent that will penetrate the pores, dissolve and lift out the stain.

Hope that helps, prost!
