I need your expert help guys:

I have searching the Web for sites that may assist me with the very large collection of various toy soldier collections that I have just inherited, this collection consists of well over 300 (mint condition) boxed items that I simply have no room for despite their obvious beauty and value. I'm more than happy to forward some of the many photo's I have of this collection, however please don't ask me too many questions regarding this subject as I'm a fish out of water on this suject....I just need the room!

Dirk, you've come to the right place as there are many knowledgeable collectors here. Please post photos of the various sets and I'm sure we'll be able to help. I'm assuming they're all Britains as you've posted in that section.

If you have problems with the photos, please let us know.

I've just tried to attach some photo's ref: the additional options below, however if you are unable to see them please advise...

Dirk,

Nothing shows. You need to go manage attachments at the lower left and then, unless you use one of those photo hosting sites, upload the photos, bearing in mind that it must fit the size of the forum software.

I've just sent the photo's to your email address as requested as I was having a nightmare trying to send them to Brad (totally my fault I suspect :confused:), hope you enjoy the photo's and hopefully you can assist me further with the many hundreds I currently have.

That sounds a little unusual. Sorry. Never had one blocked before. Did you have to go through some security clearance?

I just started to look through the photos. The first K & C I came to is the Axis Leader set. Could be worth a great deal.

I will leave it to Dave to give you advise on the Britains and Marlboroughs, subject which I readily admit I know nothing about :)

However, besides the King and Country Axis Leader set, I saw a couple of boxes of K & C Seaforths, with a flagbear that is probably part of a color guard set. Can you send me photos of the contents of the K & C boxes. Do the boxes come with certificates and are the boxes in good condition.

From the sound of things, it sounds like you want to sell the collection. What do you have in mind?
 
That's great news Brad, like I said in a previous thread I have hundreds of mint condition examples and as I non collector I simply have not the trained eye for this type of thing: "leave it to the experts is what I say"

I guess you know that already!

I'll check out your request ref: the K & C items (no problem) and send you more photo's, what I can confirm already is that all boxes are in mint condition and yes I will be selling the whole lot off.

I could be here for years!

Hi Dirk,

I just popped and email to you and see that you and Brad have the WWII Axis Leaders set in discussion I think that is a very interesting set. I also noted the Glossy Seaforth Colour Guard. I will be quite happy to go through all of the pictures I have received and give you what ever information I can. I saw some very nice Premier Sets and the Britains Limited Editions are also quite nice.
