This really quite good. At first I didn't care for the main actor much, but he grows on you.
Maybe filming was intentional to set the tone, but Wales is bleak. At least in the Winter. With
some of the characters I thought it could have taken place somewhere in American Appalachia.
Anyway it takes British crime drama up a notch or two. Can't wait for Season 2.

I agree, my wife (who is half welsh) and I watched this series and it's pretty good indeed!
